Quick burst of inspiration

After viewing quite… a lot of YouTube, I have begun to realise not only the importance of doing stuff like airing your opinion on things, but also just having that voice to air.
Having this blog, even if no one reads it just gives me an outlet to say… well… utter crap…
Someone may be wondering what I have been up to in the… ummm… How ever long since I last posted. To put it simpily, these are the 5 main things in order of importance
1- Spending time with my girlfriend (love her (only referring to her as “my girlfriend” or similar until she distinctly says its ok to say her name))
2- School. To put it simpily, VCE sucks.
3- Work. If you get offered a job cleaning a butcher, it’s decent pay, but if you can get something else, take it, the work is pretty boring, but well paying.
4- Gaming. Just getting into Starcraft II (bronze league Protoss), still going with TF2 mainly though (starting to transition from soldier to medic though).
5- My own personal projects. At the moment, the two main ones are mostly TF2 related. The first is priorhud (my own custom HUD), which is basically going to end up being m0rehud 5 with elements thrown in from some others and the ubercharge bar moved. The other is cleaning up the Respawn TF2 configs so that next LAN we are ready to go with up-to-date whitelists and general configs.
At this point I know I should probably say something of some decent nature, but I do also have school in less than 8 hours… Fuck…

So, I have noticed since releasing my post about spambots, I have had such a flood of them I have stopped checking my emails. May be an idea to setup a filter to divert them……
I find it funny though, all these messages with comments saying how it was an inspiring post they want to use for something, yet with names advertising products or websites.
I hope there is someone out there who accepts those posts on their blog, just so that the bandwidth of those morons is sufficiantly wasted.
In other news, I found out that the Android WordPress app doesn’t always post stuff properly, and I didn’t notice because I don’t use the web admin panel any more, so sorry about that. If anyone cares, I’m working again cleaning up after a butcher, pretty crap work, the hours are shit, but most of the actual minutes are pretty good.

I can’t understand what is wrong with some people, they sit around pretending that screaming “dj fuckwit” (or at least that’s what it sounded like) was appropriate. I don’t care if that’s your nickname, if you yell that, especially around a public place with old people around, you dear sir are the fuckwit.
On the bus home today, I heard calls of “snitch” and “cunt”, again, what is wrong with people that they have to do stuff like that. When I asked why they were calling that guy such names, apparently it was because he told a teacher someone hadn’t finished their homework for them… oh no, big deal, someone hadn’t finished work which was your responsibility to do for you…
Year 12

So, today is my first of three days of year 12 orientation and I can’t help but feel like in all these years not that much has been accomplished.
Let’s put this in perspective.
7 years of primary school
6 years of secondary school
3+ years of university
All so you can be re-trained on your first day on the workplace.
School isn’t what teachers proclaim it to be, it isn’t the be all and end all, it’s an experience that should be taken of, maybe not so much for the knowledge gained, but for the people you meet and the things you go through.

Let’s face it, one blog in every million (or something like that) actually turns into something productive. I can’t help but feel like mine is on the verge of becoming one of those.
Sure, it’s not providing a large amount of entertainment to anyone, I’m not providing an education, but I am venting in a safe way about good things and bad things.
Not only that, but it feels kinda awesome every time I mark a comment as spam and after they build up just doing a mass delete…
Oh well. Thanks to anyone out there who is listening to my rants, who knows, someday I will decide on a certain direction to take this, but I’m happy with where this is now
For the first time

Two blog posts in one night/morning…
So, I’m watching The A-Team and I can’t help but feel like my dad may be onto something, sure Mythbusters and the guys on Scrapheap Challenge may be under some time crunches, but these guys did it right, even if it was fiction, coming up with awesome rigs, not for a competition, but for survival. This is what good tv is. Actually entertaining. This is why we have 7 Mate, to show people my age what they missed out on.
Frustration

So, I’m laying in bed, pissed off at the completely uselessness of some software.
Now, major releases should be given a major release number for a decent reason. That being said, WordPress.
I started this on 2.8.somecrap but now it is running 3.somecrap because I was sick of it annoying me. I can’t see any difference, defiantely nothing to warrant it being a major release, I’m hoping the backend has some nice upgrades/cleanups or something…
Not only that, but I installed upgrades for Windows 7 yesteday… and today it tells me it wants to install more. I am sorry, but no, no I will not download your security fix for fax drivers or some crap like that. Either way, one update per month, sound good?
This brings me to anti-virus software. Avast! Free, I hate to say this, but if you give out software, and claim it to be free, that does not mean its free until I give you my personal details, its FREE! Its not that bloody hard… My personal details are mine for a reason, and not yours.

Every time I see Nathan Fillion in a browncoat in this show I just laugh…
On the upside, I have cleaned the blog up, made it look better and such… not that anyone reads it…

So, it occurs to me that majority, if not all of my blog posts have been published after 1am…. This may or may not be a good/bad sign of my mental health.
Anyway.
Todays events:
Sleep. Sleep. Sleep. Look at people complain about the Facebook font size (it is REALLY not that big of an issue). Watched a scrim from two OzFortress teams, was entertaining, now, hopefully, back to sleep.
I’m not sure what else there really is to say. First exam of the year next Tuesday afternoon, IT applications units 3 and 4… Yes, because they are useful. People telling me that Access is the only kind of database you should know about is useful… Oh well… Each to their own I guess…
